Manchester City have agreed a deal in principle for the transfer of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City. The transfer is still contingent on the finalisation of personal between Haaland and Manchester City.
The Etihad Stadium club announced that Haaland will be a Manchester City player from July 1.
This move will make Haaland, 21 one of the highest earners in the world, although, according to sources, he will not be making as much as Kevin De Bruyne, who is on £375,000 a week.
The Norway international is already considered a phenom in the game, while this move helps Guardiola complete his side who have been looking for a central striker since Aguero left in May 2021. With Pep’s coaching and the brutal intelligence of Haaland, Manchester City will be a terrifying prospect for anyone next season (as if they aren’t already).
